An Aeci instructor since 1994, I am one of the few in Italy to be qualified to teach Siv and Acro manoeuvres with paragliders. I live for my no-limit passions but with brains and preparation. Full description
Would you like to share anunforgettable experience with your better half, your best friend or someone special? A simultaneous two-seater paragliding flight is the right idea for you!
You will take off together from Monte Bargiglio, between the Garfagnana and the Apuan Alps, and fly supported by the updrafts for about 20 minutes of pure excitement.
Relying on a team of experienced pilots, you will carry out the activity in total safety: comfortably seated, all you have to do is enjoy the panoramic spectacle over the Serchio Valley.
What we will do
The meeting with the pilots will take place in Borgo a Mozzano, in the province of Lucca, and from there you will reach the take-off point on Monte Bargiglio, at an altitude of about 800 metres.
Before the flight, you will have a detailed briefing on the operation of the paraglider and the rules of behaviour and safety. After that, you will put on your helmet and harness and, each firmly attached to your pilot, prepare for take-off.
As the pilot takes off, you will run a few metres downhill and it will only take a moment to find yourself suspended in the air, flying with the updrafts. You will enjoy a vast panorama of the Serchio Valley, furrowed by canyons and torrents and surrounded by mountain ranges and lush vegetation. The Ponte del Diavolo (Devil's Bridge) with its peculiar spans, the subject of ancient legends, will also stand out from above.
During the 20-minute scenic flight (varying according to the currents of the day), you will be immersed in a unique scenario and, from high in the sky, you will be able to exchange glances of wonderment to get an even clearer sense of sharing a magical and unforgettable moment.
The experience will end with a soft landing near the initial meeting point. In total, between travel, preparation and flight, the activity will last about 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
Tandem paragliding is an activity within everyone's reach. All you need is to be in good health and able to run a few metres. You can participate from the age of 7 and up and weigh between 30 and 130 kg.
Other information
This activity can be carried out all year round, subject to weather and wind conditions. On weekdays, the flight will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 3 participants.
It is possible to request an HD video of the experience, with professional editing, at an extra cost of 25€ (payable locally).
The take-off point can be reached by participants in their own car or by minibus transfer(7€ to be paid locally).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
