Experience the thrill of a free paragliding flight over one of Italy's most beautiful coastal landscapes. Fly above the Cinque Terre admiring the blue sky and the blue sea.
Flying in tandem with an expert instructor you will live the experience in complete safety and you will not have to worry about anything except enjoying the breathtaking panorama and the great feeling of freedom.
Paragliding is an activity suitable for everyone. You fly supported by the rising wind currents that slow your descent gradually until a soft landing. Ready for take-off?
What we will do
The flight takes place in the area of Monterosso al Mare, in the province of La Spezia. The exact meeting place will be communicated to you by the instructor, as this is variable depending on the time of year, the time of day, and weather and wind conditions. Once you reach the take-off point, you will be given a briefing on the rules of behaviour for flying in comfort and safety and, having prepared your equipment, you will prepare for take-off.
It will only take a few steps downhill, not even time to notice, and you will be off the ground taking off. Firmly harnessed and attached to the instructor, all you have to do is enjoy the feeling of lightness and freedom and the marvellous landscape that will appear before you. The gulf of Monterosso, themarine protected area and the Cinque Terre Natural Park will be a real spectacle for the eyes!
The flight will last between 15 and 20 minutes. You will descend gently in altitude until the gentle landing, which, during the summer season, will take place on the beach. Including transfers to and from the take-off point, the activity will last about 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of an easy level and is open to everyone in good health, with a body weight between 30 and 100 kg. Minors require a written authorisation signed by their parents.
No special experience or skills are required. The activity is restricted for pregnant women.
People with motor disabilities can also fly, thanks to dedicated equipment. The possibility depends on the type of disability and the flight conditions on the day. After confirming your booking, you can contact the pilot to check feasibility (references will be sent to you by e-mail) .

The paragliding activity is closely linked to weather and wind conditions. It can be booked and carried out all year round, but will only be confirmed if weather conditions are compatible with maximum safety for participants.
If you wish, you can request a video of your experience filmed by the pilot on the day of the activity for an additional fee.
The meeting and take-off location may vary depending on the period and the weather, but will always be within the Cinque Terre area, no more than 120 minutes from La Spezia. During the summer months, due to the impossibility of landing on the beach, the flight will not take place in the Monterosso area.
The simultaneous flight option is not available.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
