Full description
Tandem paragliding is the best way to approach the fantastic world of free flight. Buoyed by the ascending currents, you will experience a sense of absolute freedom as you observe the breathtaking panorama of the Messina coastline from a height of 500 metres.
You will live aunique experience in total safety, thanks to a highly specialised team of instructors with the best equipment on the market.
Looking for an adrenalin rush? The more daring can take command of the paraglider for a short time... we assure you that the sensation will leave you breathless!
What we will do
The meeting is at the time selected during the booking process at the flight centre in Letojanni, in the province of Messina.
The shuttle service (included in the participation fee) will take us to the launch site, which can be in Gallodoro or Taormina, depending on the weather conditions of the day. Both launch sites are only 20 minutes away from the flight centre.
After a short briefing, we will be given a harness and helmet and can help the pilot prepare the vehicle for take-off. Now everything is ready, let's fly!
The take-off is carried out from a gentle descent in a hilly section and does not require any free fall points: just a few running-up steps together with the pilot and, before we know it, we will be suspended in the air.
During the 20-minute flight, we will be able to admire some of Italy's most beautiful scenery, from the stunning Taormina to the Ionian Sea. The most courageous will also be able to ask the pilot to try manoeuvring the paraglider himself to complete the experience with the right adrenaline rush!
Finally, we will land gently a few steps away from the meeting point.
The activity lasts a total of 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The tandem paragliding flight will be a fantastic experience of absolute freedom, open to everyone!
The only requirements are the age, which must be at least 8 years old, and the weight of the participants, which must be between 25kg and 100kg.

Please note: it is necessary to arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the activity.
Paragliding is an activity that is closely linked to weather and wind conditions. The day before the planned date, after carefully evaluating the forecast, the pilot will send you a confirmation of the flight feasibility,time and location.
Important: children under the age of 18 must present written and signed parental consent in order to proceed with the activity. If consent is not provided, the guide will not allow participants to carry out the activity and the activity will not be reimbursed.
Up to 4 people can fly at the same time.
At the end of the experience, you can ask the pilot for free videos or souvenir photos of the experience (via SD card that will be provided to you on site).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
