Since my teenage years, flying has tickled my fancy to the point that I tried to build a prototype aircraft. Of course, the experimentation did not go well. In 1991 I enrolled in a hang gliding course and from there it was a continuous crescendo of experiences that led me to 6 VDS flight ratings.

Full description
Enjoy a stunning paragliding flight over the Costa Sicana and admire from above the white cliffs characteristic of the Agrigento coastline and the Scala dei Turchi.
In tandem with an experienced pilot you will fly 15 to 20 minutes supported by the ascending currents and caressed by the Mediterranean sea breeze.
You will be immersed in a real postcard scenery, get ready for take-off!
What we will do
You will meet the pilot at the entrance to the town of Siculiana, a municipality on the Sicana Coast in the province of Agrigento, and together you will reach the take-off point, located a few hundred metres above sea level.
The experience will begin with a pre-flight briefing during which the pilot will explain the operating principles of paragliding and the rules of behaviour for flying in comfort and safety. After that, you will put on your helmet and harness and, firmly attached to the pilot, prepare for take-off.
It will only take a few steps downhill to take flight and start floating in the air with the support of the updrafts. You will fly for about 15-20 minutes, depending on the winds of the day, over a stretch of coastline between the Scala dei Turchi and the villages of Giallonardo, Capo Rossello and Monte Stella.
From above, you will admire a spectacular contrast of colours: the blue of the sea, the white of the cliffs and the green of the surrounding vegetation, and gradually you will descend in altitude until you land softly on the beach.
Between transfers, preparation and briefing, the activity will take about 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
Tandem paragliding is an activity within everyone's reach and requires no special skills or preparation. All you need is to be in good health, able to take a few steps and weigh between 40 and 90 kg.

This activity can be carried out all year round.
Important: paragliding is an activity that is strongly dependent on the weather. Contact the pilot the day before the activity to receive confirmation of the flight and time. The exact take-off point will be chosen by the pilot according to the winds of the day.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
