Full description
Fly over the Ticino Valley on a tandem paraglider with a qualified instructor. You will take the cable car and walk a short distance to the take-off point at 1300 m on the summit of Monte Carasso in Switzerland.
After an introductory briefing by the instructor, you will make a downhill run for take-off. You will then fly for about 15 minutes with the three castles of Bellinzona at your feet and experience the thrill of flying over a breathtaking landscape with the Grisons Valleys on your left and Lake Locarno on your right.
What we will do
We will meet at the Monte Carasso cable car with our instructor. We will take the cable car for a 15-minute ascent. Once there, we will take a walk of about 5-10 minutes to reach the take-off point at 1300 m altitude.
The instructor will give us a short briefing, during which he will provide us with a bit of information to help us enjoy the experience. He will also give us a hand with the harness and the correct positioning on the seat. After that we will be ready for a little run down for take-off.
We will take off with the majestic castles of Bellinzona in front of us: three buildings (Castelgrande, Montebello and Sasso Corbaro) dating back to the Middle Ages with imposing towers and a long wall.
We will fly over the Ticino valley for about 15 minutes, with Locarno on one side and Monte Tamaro on the other. On our left we will also see the Grisons Valleys and on the right the blue mirror of Lake Locarno.
We will land about 10 minutes' walk from the meeting point. The total duration of the activity will be one and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for beginners. Children from the age of 6 can also fly, with signed parental consent. Up to the age of 16, the presence of a parent is mandatory.
In order to fly paragliders, participants must be within a weight limit of 140 kg. Other requirements are good health and good mobility.

Tandem paragliding is available all year round from Wednesday to Sunday, subject to weather conditions.
Caution! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time.
Important: paragliding is an activity that is strongly weather-dependent. The pilot will contact you a day or two before the activity to give you confirmation of the time and meeting point. Safety first: if the weather forecast is not good, the flight will be carried out in another area or postponed to a new date.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
