Would you like to enjoy a truly unique and privileged perspective over one of the most beautiful seas in Sicily? Then a paragliding flight in San Vito Lo Capo is for you!
You will take flight from the top of the mountains above the town and fly over the beautiful coastal bay, losing yourself between the blue sea and the blue sky, until you land softly near the beach.
Flying tandem with a professional pilot certified by theAero Club d'Italia, you will do so in comfort and safety. All you have to do is relax, surrender to the rising wind currents and enjoy the experience to the full. It will be unforgettable!
What we will do
We will meet in the centre of San Vito Lo Capo or at another previously agreed point. There we will meet our pilot and, with the means provided by the organisation, we will move to the take-off point. Paragliding is an activity closely linked to weather and wind conditions, especially in Sicily, where winds can change abruptly. Precisely for this reason, the take-off point will be established the day before by the pilot, after checking the latest weather report.
If wind conditions permit, we will remain in the municipality of San Vito Lo Capo to take off from Monte Monaco or Monte Cofano and have the bay and San Vito Sanctuary in front of us. Alternatively, we could go as far as Castellammare del Golfo, Erice, Montagna Grande, Scopello or Trapani city. Sea or inland, the landscapes will be equally spectacular!
Once at the take-off point, we will have a briefing on the rules of behaviour for flying in comfort and safety. After that, having prepared the equipment and securely harnessed your harness, it will be time to take off. A short run downhill and, without even realising it, we will be in the air feeling as light as a feather!
Taking advantage of the best updrafts, the paraglider will remain in the air for 20 to 40 minutes, gradually and gently descending in altitude until it softly touches down. After landing, we will be taken back to the initial meeting point.
Between transfers, preparation and flight, the total duration of the activity is 2 to 3 hours, depending on the chosen flying area.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level; no specific experience or skills are required. Anyone in good health and between the ages of 7 and 70 can fly. Pregnant women, people suffering from epilepsy and people with spinal or lower limb prostheses are not allowed to participate.

Attention! Please arrive at the meeting point approximately 15 minutes before the agreed time.
The activity can take place all year round if the weather is favourable.
Important: on the day before the agreed date, contact the pilot via Whatsapp (you will receive his or her contact details after booking) to ask for confirmation of the flight and time.
You can request a return shuttle service from your residence (or an agreed point) to the meeting point. The price is 20€ per person (payable locally)
For the extra price of 50€ you can include in the experience a professional hd video with double shooting, editing and editing.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
