Since my teenage years, flying has tickled my fancy to the point that I tried to build a prototype aircraft. Of course, the experimentation did not go well. In 1991 I enrolled in a hang gliding course and from there it was a continuous crescendo of experiences that led me to 6 VDS flight ratings.

Full description
According to many enthusiasts, flying over the Sicani Mountains,in the Agrigento hinterland, is one of the most beautiful tandem paragliding experiences in Sicily.
Taking off from an altitude of over 1,000 metres, on a clear day you can see both coastlines, the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Mediterranean Sea towards the African coast.
You will flytandem with an experienced pilot and let yourself be carried away by the ascending wind currents, enjoying a true panoramic spectacle.
What we will do
You will meet the pilot near Cammarata, in the province of Agrigento, and together you will reach the take-off point in the Sicani Mountains, 1,100 metres above sea level.
Once at the site, the pilot will prepare theequipment and explain to you in detail how the paraglider works, giving you all the information you need to carry out the activity safely. Then, securely harnessed, you will prepare for take-off.
Taking off on aparaglider is one of the most exciting moments: all it takes is a short run downhill and in no time you will find yourself suspended in the air, flying with the updrafts. You will fly over the Monti Sicani Park for about 15-20 minutes, admiring its beautiful nature and the sea on the horizon from above.
If conditions permit, you can also take over the controls of the paraglider and try your hand at piloting for an even more adrenaline-filled experience!
Between transfers, preparation and flight, the activity will last about 1 hour in total and will end with a soft landing near the initial meeting point.
Who it is aimed at
Tandem paragliding is an activity within everyone's reach and requires no special skills or preparation. All you need is to be in good health, able to take a few steps and weigh between 40 and 90 kg.

This activity can be done all year round, depending on weather and wind conditions.
Normally, you fly at this location about 2 hours before sunset, at times that vary depending on the time of year and which will be confirmed to you after booking.
The participation fee includes a video of the experience.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
