Tandem paragliding flight in Taormina

Experience the thrill of free paragliding over the beautiful Taormina on the east coast of Sicily. Admire theIsola Bella andMount Etna from above, losing yourself in the blue sea andblue sky until you land softly on the beach.

Flying tandem with a world champion paraglider, with 20 years of experience and 2 victories at the Italian championships, you will do the activity in complete safety. All you have to do is relax, surrender to the rising wind currents and enjoy the flight to the full.

What we will do

The rendezvous is in Letojanni (ME), where we will meet the pilot and, with the means provided by the organisation, we will move together to the take-off point.

If wind conditions permit, we will remain in the municipality of Taormina or move to other take-off areas in the province of Messina. It will be possible to express one's preference on the take-off area.

We will have an exhaustive briefing on the activity, in which the pilot will give us all the necessary information on the various phases of the flight and the safety rules to face the experience in the best possible way. After donning the equipment, we will then prepare for take-off: firmly harnessed together with the pilot, we will only have to take a few steps to run up and, before we know it, we will be floating in the air!

Buoyed by the rising wind currents, we will experience a feeling of absolute freedom and lightness. During the flight, we will enjoy the breathtaking panorama of Taormina,Isola Bella and, in the distance,Mount Etna. After about 15 to 20 minutes of flight, we will land gently on the beach near the meeting point.

The total duration of the experience is about 1 hour, depending on the take-off area chosen, and includes transfer to the take-off point, pre-flight briefing, and paragliding flight with video souvenir.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone. No specific skills or physical preparation are required, you just need to be able to take a few tentative steps with the rider. The only limit is the weight, which must be between 20 and 120 kg.

Unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 must present a written consent signed by their parents. If not presented, they will not be able to take part in the activity and will not be reimbursed.

Attention! Please arrive at the meeting point approximately 15 minutes before the agreed time.

The activity can be booked all year round, subject to weather conditions and pilot availability.

Important: paragliding is an activity that is closely linked to weather and wind conditions. The day before the planned date, after carefully evaluating the forecast, the pilot will send you a confirmation of the flight feasibility, time and location. You will be able to express your preference on the flight area and, if necessary, agree on another date with the pilot in case you are unable to make the flight.

Up to 4 people can fly at the same time.

The package includes a video shot with GoPro that will be shared on your smartphone.
