Experience the thrill of free flight in Rome and enjoy a walk in the sky, observe the landscape from a unique vantage point and experience the thrill of taking your feet off the ground!
A professional pilot will take you flying in a paramotor, a special kind of paraglider equipped with a propeller engine. Firmly harnessed to your 'Icarus', you will have nothing to fear and will only think about enjoying the experience.
You will take off from the Montecompatri airfield, a few kilometres from the capital: the Roman countryside will appear to you from a completely new perspective!
What we will do
You will meet the pilot in Montecompatri, a few kilometres east of Rome. You will immediately start with a briefing on behaviour and safety rules. Then you will be handed your equipment and harnessed firmly to the pilot to fly tandem.
The main advantage of the paramotor is that it takes off in flat terrain and can be used for low-level flights. It is a comfortable and smooth ride as it does not require large spaces to take off and land. Otherwise, it is very similar to paragliding.
The flight lasts about 15 minutes and takes place within the confines of the large green area of the flying field. In total, the experience lasts about 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone, including children aged 8 and up (with the consent of both parents). No experience or physical ability is required. Just be able to make a short run for take-off.
