Experience the thrill of a free paragliding flight and admire from above the splendid views of the Apuan Alps and Lake Massaciuccoli, in the province of Lucca.
You will fly tandem with pilots from the World Cup circuit, who have made their passion for flying a profession and provide patents, insurance, and all their expertise.
You will fly supported by the ascending wind currents and all you have to do is enjoy the wonderful landscape below and the enormous sense of lightness and freedom that only those who dare to detach themselves from the earth can feel.
What we will do
We will meet, 15 minutes before the indicated time, at the flight area in the province of Lucca, where the instructor will welcome us and give us all the instructions to face the experience safely and comfortably.
Depending on the time of year and the wind conditions, the pilot will choose the best take-off point: it may be among the panoramas of the Apuan Alps Park or near the coast, near Lake Massaciuccoli. Whatever the starting point, the spectacle from above is guaranteed: it will be the Tuscan nature, with its colours and variety, that will fill our eyes.
After donning the equipment and attaching ourselves to the pilot with the harness, it will only take us a few steps downhill to detach ourselves from the ground. In an instant we will be suspended in the air, carried gently by the ascending currents.
During the 15-20 minute flight we will have plenty of time to relax, take photos and admire the landscape from a unique perspective. The experience will end with a soft landing on level ground.
In total, between transfers and preparation, the activity will take about 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of an easy level and is open to everyone in good health, with a body weight between 30 and 100 kg. Minors require a written authorisation signed by their parents.
No special experience or skills are required. The activity is restricted for pregnant women.
People with motor disabilities can also fly, thanks to dedicated equipment. The possibility depends on the type of disability and the flight conditions on the day. After confirming your booking, you can contact the pilot to check feasibility (references will be sent to you by e-mail) .
Other information
Paragliding is closely linked to weather and wind conditions. It can take place all year round, but will only be confirmed if the weather conditions are compatible with maximum safety for participants.
The meeting and take-off location variesdepending on the period and weather within the province of Lucca, in the area between the Apuan Alps Park and Lake Massaciuccoli.
Please note: contact the pilot 2 days before the time chosen for the activity at the references you will find in the booking email to receive confirmation of the time and meeting point.
You can request photos and videos of the experience directly from the pilot at an extra cost of 20€ (payable locally).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
