Do you like strong emotions and are you someone who is not satisfied with a scenic flight but is looking for the ultimate adrenaline rush? An acrobatic flight in a tandem paraglider will satisfy your thirst for breathtaking sensations!
Get ready to take off from an altitude of 800 m with a professional pilot and perform evolutions and spins in the skies of the Serchio Valley in Tuscany, surrounded by a stunning natural landscape.
After this heart-stopping experience, when you put your feet back on the ground, you will be sure that nothing is impossible and you will look forward to soaring through the air again!
What we will do
You will meet the pilot in Borgo a Mozzano, in the province of Lucca, and together you will go to the take-off point on Monte Bargiglio, at an altitude of about 800 metres.
Before the flight, you will have a detailed briefing on the operating principles of the paraglider and the rules of behaviour and safety. Then, securely harnessed, it will be time to take a running start and take off into the flow of the updrafts.
Aerobatic paragliding differs from scenic flying in that the descent speed is faster and the manoeuvres much more dynamic. The pilot will perform vaults, spins and turns for about 10 minutes of pure adrenaline.
All this will have as its backdrop one of Tuscany's most evocative landscapes, the Serchio Valley, with its canyons, torrents, and unspoilt nature reigning supreme!
In total, between travel, preparation and flight, the activity will last about 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
Tandem paragliding is an activity within everyone's reach. All you need is to be in good health and able to run a few metres. You can participate from the age of 7 and up and weigh between 30 and 130 kg.
Other information
This activity can be carried out all year round, subject to weather and wind conditions. On weekdays, the flight will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 3 participants.
It will be possible to request a video souvenir of the experience by paying an additional fee directly to the pilot on site. Please contact the pilot at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail for more information.
The take-off point will be reached by participants in their own car.
Onrequest, a simultaneous flight for up to 2 people is possible, subject to the availability of the pilot and an additional charge of €50 to be paid on site.
