Full description
Experience the thrill of a free flight in a tandem paraglider and get ready to savour one of the most incredible sensations ever: flying over the Alpine skies, breathing in the pure mountain air and admiring marvellous views.
You will take off from Mount Cuarnan, in the province of Udine, together with a world champion, holder of 8 world records and member of the Italian National Paragliding Team. You will fly in tandem and you will not have to worry about anything except photographing the landscape and enjoying to the fullest those 30 minutes or so in the air!
You will fly over the area between the Friulian plain, the Pre-Alps and the Julian Alps, immersed in a beautiful natural environment full of surprises. We are sure it will be a moment you will remember forever!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 15 minutes before the selected time at the Gemona del Friuli (UD) meeting point. Together with you we will head towards the take-off point; if the number of participants allows it, we will only use my vehicle otherwise I will ask you to follow me in your own vehicle. On the way I will explain theactivity in detail and describe everything we will see from above.
When we arrive at our destination, at an altitude of 1,180 metres, we will mount the paraglider and it will finally be time to take flight. Flying together with an experienced instructorwill allow you to fully enjoy the experience, in complete peace and safety. It will only take a few steps and we will find ourselves suspended in a new dimension between heaven and earth, admiring the magnificent landscape, meeting birds of prey and other birds of prey, and, above all, savouring an incredible sense of freedom.
In flight, we will have our hands free to film or take beautiful photographs! What's more, by sitting down, we will not feel dizzy. The activity lasts about 1½ hours, including 20 or 30 minutes of flight time, depending on the weather conditions of the day.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for everyone.
Good health is required to participate in this activity.
A weight between 25 and 100 kg is required to participate in this activity.
If the participant is a child, an elderly person or a person weighing more than 90 kg, please contact the pilot at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate your attendance.
Other information
Friends and family will be able to watch your launch or landing from the ground, and in the case of several participants, we will try to fly all together with the help of other expert guides.
Important: if you are unable to reach the take-off point by your own car or that of your pilot, you may be asked to pay a supplement of 6 to 10€ to use the shuttle service.
The course of the activity is closely related to weather conditions. The day before the flight, the pilot will send you confirmation of the activity.
Photos and videos will be shared with you by the pilot at the end of the experience via smartphone.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
