Full description
There are beaches that make you want to dive. And then there is Caminia, which makes you want to fly.
With this paragliding flight over the Costa degli Aranci you soar above cliffs, caves and turquoise water, in tandem with an experienced pilot. You take off from the hill and land on the beach, after a 10-15 minute scenic flight that will change the way you look at Calabria!
What we will do
The meeting with the pilot is in the area of Caminia (Stalettì), near Catanzaro. With an organiser's vehicle you will reach the take-off point, about 10 minutes away.
Once on take-off, at an altitude of about 250 metres, the pilot will explain everything you need to take off safely: how to position yourself, when to run, and how to tackle the short run-up that will take you off the ground.
Once you have put on your harness and completed the checks, we will hold a final technical briefing. Then it's just a few steps of a run-up. .. and you'll be in the air!
The flight lasts 10-15 minutes and follows the spectacular Ionian cliff, offering a privileged view of the Grotta di San Gregorio, the turquoise sea and the beaches of Caminia. The flight is panoramic, with some gentle manoeuvres that add a pinch of excitement without ever losing the feeling of lightness.
During the flight a video will be filmed by the pilot, so you can take home every moment of the experience. And if you feel like it, you can also try manoeuvring the paraglider, again under the guidance of the pilot.
The landing is soft and takes place on the beach at Caminia. Between briefings, transfers and actual flight, the experience lasts a total of about 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
Tandem paragliding is an accessible experience for everyone. You only need to be in good health, have no heart or cardiovascular disease, and be able to make a short run at take-off.
To participate, you must weigh between 30 and 130 kg. Minors may participate with the permission of a parent or responsible adult.

This activity can be carried out all year round.
Important: paragliding is an activity closely linked to weather conditions. The pilot will contact you 2 or 3 days before the planned date of the activity to confirm the precise time and feasibility of the flight.
Simultaneous flights of up to 3 participants at a time can be organised on request.
The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport; a transfer service from your accommodation/hotel is available on request and at an extra charge. On-site parking is available for a fee.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
