Full description
Live a magical experience by experiencing the thrill of a free flight on a paraglider. Admire the beautiful Sicilian landscapes around Palermo from above and feel as free as a seagull flying over the blue expanse of the sea.
Flying in tandem with professional pilots certified by theAero Club d'Italia, you will carry out the activity in complete safety and all you have to do is enjoy the adventure to the full.
Taking advantage of the rising wind currents, the paraglider will keep you in the air from 20 to 40 minutes, descending in altitude gradually and gently, until a soft landing.
What we will do
Paragliding is an activity closely linked to weather and wind conditions, especially in Sicily, where winds can change abruptly. Precisely for this reason, the meeting place and time will be confirmed the day before the activity directly by the pilot who, after checking the latest weather report, will choose the flight area that can guarantee the best experience.
The rendezvous point usually coincides with the landing, so you can conveniently park your car and retrieve it immediately after the activity is over (alternatively, you can book a shuttle service to/from your residence at an extra cost of 20€ per person). After getting to know the pilot, you will go together to the take-off point located on the high ground.
After preparing yourequipment and a briefing on the rules of behaviour, you will be ready to launch. Securely harnessed, all it takes is a small run-up down the slope and, in no time at all, you will take off. The moment of take-off is a little magic, not even time to realise it and you find yourself suspended in the air!
Taking advantage of the best updrafts, the paraglider will stay in the air for 20 to 40 minutes, allowing a wide view of the surrounding landscape, as well as an extraordinary and prolonged thrill.
Possible flight areas are Cefalù or Pollina (by the sea) or Piana degli Albanesi or Bolognetta (inland). Between preparation, move to take-off and flight, the activity lasts about 2 hours, depending on the chosen flight area.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level; no specific experience or skills are required. Anyone in good health and between the ages of 7 and 70 can fly. Pregnant women, people suffering from epilepsy and people with spinal or lower limb prostheses are not allowed to participate.

Attention! Please arrive at the meeting point approximately 15 minutes before the agreed time.
The activity can take place all year round if the weather conditions are favourable.
Important: on the day before the agreed date, contact the pilot via Whatsapp (you will receive his contact details after booking) to ask for confirmation of the flight and time. Together with the confirmation, you will also be informed of the chosen flight area.
You can request a return shuttle service from your residence (or an agreed point) to the meeting point. The price is 20€ per person (payable locally).
For the extra price of 50€ you can include in the experience a professional hd video with double shooting, editing and editing.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
