Eating well is not just a pleasure: in Naples it is a question of identity.
And if pizza is a world heritage site, exploring the city on a vintage Vespa is a heritage of good taste. This tour (or rather, your private driver) will accompany you to discover iconic squares , authentic neighbourhoods and mouth-watering stops that tell the stories, aromas and secrets of true Neapolitan cuisine.
A4½-hour experience that will remain in your heart (and belly)!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point of your choice that you will communicate to the organiser in Naples (NA). Your guide will pick you up, a professional driver who will accompany you to discover the most authentic and tasty Naples!
You will climb into the saddle as a passenger on a carefully restored vintage Vespa. Ready, set, go: from the seafront you will cross the historic centre, the Quartieri Spagnoli and the Vomero hill, stopping off at the city's landmarks.
Along the way, you will make several culinary stops at the city's best kitchens and workshops, to learn from chefs and pizza makers the secret of the perfect pizza, which you will try to prepare and bake during a real lesson.
In addition, you will visit the ancient Neapolitan chocolate factory where tools and recipes from the past are still used (and where you will taste 'naked' chocolates). Finally, you will taste the characteristic fried 'cuoppo', so you won't miss a thing!
The tour will end with a return to your chosen return point. The activity will last a total of 4½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Persons under the age of 18 may participate accompanied by an adult.
The tour takes place in private groups in which each participant will travel as a passenger with his/her own driver/guide.

The meeting point can be reached by public transport, but pick-up and drop-off services are always included: contact the organiser at the contact details given in the confirmation email to book a free pick-up at the desired address.
Tastings include: pizza, fried 'cuoppo', buffalo mozzarella, smoked provoletta, Neapolitan ham and salami, glass of Campania DOC wine, ice cream, naked chocolates, sfogliatella/babà and Neapolitan espresso coffee.
Attention! The chocolate factory is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Entrance to the factory is limited to the sales area on Friday afternoon.
