If you want to discover the true flavour of Italy’s most famous sparkling wines, forget the big industrial brands and let yourself be guided amongst the barrels of an artisanal winery, where passion is measured in years of ageing and the wine is savoured one glass at a time.
Join this Franciacorta wine tasting with a cellar tour in Corte Franca. A shared experience lasting one and a half hours to discover the history and production methods of the region at first hand.
What we will do
The event will take place at the time selected when booking, at the Il Dosso winery in Corte Franca (BS). The tour will begin with a guided tour of the winery lasting around 30 minutes, during which we will learn about the winery’s history and all the stages of Franciacorta production.
Afterwards, we’ll take our seats at the table – which, during the summer months, will be set up outdoors – to begin the tasting itself. If you choose the 3-glass option, you’ll be able to taste 3 wines of your choice from a selection of vintage Franciacortas or a red wine, all served with handmade taralli, water, salami and shavings of cheese from local farms.
If, on the other hand, we’d prefer an even more comprehensive experience, we can opt for the 4-glass option, adding one more fine glass to our selection.
The experience will last approximately one and a half hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The wine tasting is for adults only. Minors and adults who are not taking part in the wine tasting may attend as accompanying guests by selecting the relevant ticket option, which includes water and a portion of handmade taralli.
The venue is wheelchair accessible, with the exception of the wine cellar.
Other information
The activity is available all year round, every day (except 25 December, 26 December and 1 January) and is confirmed subject to a minimum of 2 participants.
Options are available for people with food allergies or intolerances, provided these are notified in advance (you will receive the guide’s contact details by email with your booking confirmation) .
Dogs are allowed during the tasting, but are not permitted inside the winery.
The venue has free outdoor parking and is accessible by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
