Do you like living with bated breath? Then this experience is for you... but this time there are no thrillers or plot twists involved!
In Arenzano, in the province of Genoa, you can learn to hold your breath for real with a freediving lesson with a dedicated instructor .
Discover the beauty of diving without tanks and regulator, deeply in tune with the blue that surrounds you!
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the indicated time in Arenzano (GE).
You will be welcomed by yourinstructor who will guide you step by step through this private freediving lesson. You will start with a briefing of about 20 minutes, during which you will be introduced to the activity and the marine environment in which you will dive. It will also be a time to understand your level and adapt the experience to your abilities.
After dressing, we will move to the dive site, carrying everything by SUP to an anchor buoy, about 200 metres from the shore. Once there, we will begin with some preparatory exercises, including the flipping technique and first attempts at descending.
At first we will go down to a maximum depth of 2 metres. Once we have gained confidence, we will be able to descend to 6-7 metres, along a cable and under the direct supervision of the instructor.
Throughout the lesson the focus will be on your safety, breathing and compensation skills, with the aim of making you feel comfortable and in tune with the sea.
We will conclude the activity by returning to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Minors may participate if accompanied by an adult or with a signed release form.
It is necessary to know how to swim to participate in the lesson. No previous experience is required.
Other information
The activity takes place from June to October.
Changing rooms with hot showers and a storage room for personal belongings are available at the meeting point.
The meeting point has free parking and is not easily accessible by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
