Freeriding Day with Ski Instructor on Monte Rosa

Come and try the'Pink powder' with a day of freeriding accompanied by a UIAGM Alpine Guide in the magnificent Monterosa Ski area in Valle d'Aosta.

The activity is aimed at skiers/snowboarders of a good level who want to learn or refine their downhill technique in fresh snow. We will choose the best itineraries according to the level of the participants; at Monterosa Ski, fun is guaranteed! If you are interested in reaching the most hidden spots, there is also the possibility of moving around using seal skins.

What we will do

We will leave our signatures in the fresh snow!

The meeting point is at the start of the Gressoney lifts. From there we will set off in search of immaculate descents off the beaten track. The choices are truly countless, some of the most sought-after itineraries are:

• la Salza, a descent of more than 1,700 metres of altitude difference in a valley that from punta Indren arrives directly in the village of Gressoney;
• the Malfatta, after a more technical entrance with the rope, it is one of the most famous descents from punta Indren down to Alagna on incredible slopes that, given their exposure, guarantee snow that is always powdery for 2,000 metres of pure adrenaline;
• the Bettolina, reached by a 40-minute ascent with skins from the Bettaforca lift and then descending for 1,000 metres towards Champoluc.

And these are just examples, what is certain is that we will spend a day of sport and adrenaline in this Freeride paradise!

Who it is aimed at

This activity is at an intermediate level and is suitable for anyone with good skiing skills.

Other information

The activity is bookable from January to April for private groups of up to five people.

It is possible to hire thenecessary equipment at specialised shops in the locality.
