Dinghy tour to the moon? That's a bit of the feeling you'll get when you disembark at Linosa.
This small Mediterranean island is ready to welcome you with its colourful inlets, the nuances of the sea and its almost lunar landscapes of volcanic origin.
Set sail from Lampedusa and get ready to discover Linosa by land and dive into its most beautiful coves on afull-day excursion. With its 450 inhabitants, time seems to stand still in Linosa!
What we will do
The meeting point is Lampedusa (AG), 15 minutes before the time indicated in the booking phase.
Once on board the dinghy, we will begin our crossing that will take us from Lampedusa to Linosa in about 1 hour: during the journey, if we are lucky, we may even see dolphins and turtles among the waves!
Arriving at the old port of Linosa, we will disembark to explore this small volcanic island of just 450 inhabitants, which offers landscapes with a lunar atmosphere and a very clear sea.
Here we can take a tour on our own or join a guided 2-hour land tour (optional and not included, to be paid on site at a cost of €20), which will take us by minibus to discover the craters and volcanic landscapes of Linosa, with a swim stop at the Natural Pool.
At the end of the tour, we will return to Linosa's old port for lunch, either packed or in an affiliated restaurant (not included). Between 14:00 and 14:30 we will depart on board the dinghy to admire Linosa from the sea and make 2 or 3 swimming stops.
Among the possible stops (which we will decide on the basis of weather and sea conditions) we will be able to stop at Cala dei fili, Baia del Conte, Cala Pozzolana di Ponenti or Grotta degli Innamorati.
Return to Lampedusa is expected at around 18:00, after 8 and a half hours of touring.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Children from 0 to 3 years old do not pay: please inform us of their presence after booking confirmation.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible, but on request passengers with reduced mobility can be assisted to board.
Other information
The tour is available from April to October, subject to a minimum of 10 participants.
Theitinerary may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
You will travel on a 7.5 m dinghy equipped with a climbing ladder, freshwater shower, USB socket, awning, sundeck, or on a 10 m cabin dinghy with cabin, on-board toilet, ladder, and shower. If you have a preference regarding the boat, please let the skipper know after booking confirmation.
It is possible to have a packed lunch or lunch at an affiliated restaurant, with a set menu at the price of €30 per person (2 courses and water). If interested, let the organisers know after booking confirmation, along with any food allergies and intolerances.
In Linosa, it is possible to take part in a guided land tour lasting 2 hours, with a swim stop at the Natural Pool. The guided tour is optional at a cost of €20 per person and can be requested on the day of the activity.
Small dogs are allowed (max. 1 dog on board that can be carried).
The meeting place can be reached by public transport or by car (car park 100 m away).
