Full description
Immerse yourself in the unspoilt beauty of the 'Pearl of the Egadi Islands' with an exciting full-day kayak excursion to Favignana.
Together with a local guide, you will discover the secrets and hidden treasures of this island in an original way, venturing past hidden bays, sea caves and nature reserves.
You will dive into clear waters for a swim and some snorkelling, and finally enjoy Sicilian delicacies (cunzato bread, homemade cakes and fresh fruit) on one of the most beautiful beaches.
What we will do
The rendezvous is at 8.30 am at the meeting point in Favignana. After a brief introduction to kayaking and paddling techniques by our expert guide, we will be ready to go!
We will dive into the turquoise waters of Favignana and begin to explore the island's enchanting coastline. We will pass hidden bays, sea caves and nature reserves, admiring the unique beauty of the seascape.
During the approximately 11 km kayak trip, we will make stops to snorkel and discover the underwater world full of life. We will swim among colourful fish and admire the variety of marine flora and fauna. Meanwhile, the guide will tell us interesting facts about the local history and the area.
Towards lunchtime we will also have the opportunity to enjoy Sicilian delicacies (cunzato bread, homemade cakes and fresh fruit). We will take a break on one of the island's most beautiful beaches and delight in authentic local flavours, tasting typical specialities and sipping a refreshing drink.
We will end the experience with a relaxing paddle back to the starting point, which we will reach around 15:00.
The activity has a total duration of 7 hours, which includes preparation, pre-hike briefing, excursion and stops.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is of medium difficulty, from 14 years of age. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
No kayaking experience is necessary, but good physical fitness is required.

The activity is available from June to August, weather permitting.
The itinerary may vary due to weather and sea conditions.
If you are a vegetarian, please inform the guide well in advance so that lunch can be arranged.
The facility has 2 double kayaks and 9 single kayaks (plus the guide's kayak).
