Full description
Some people have dreamed of being a pirate at least once in their life, and some are lying.
This summer, crown your dream by boarding an authentic galleon that will take you from San Vito Lo Capo to discover the hidden 'treasures' of the Zingaro Nature Reserve and Scopello during a half-day adventure.
Get ready to go on board!
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in San Vito Lo Capo (TP). Awaiting us will be our captain, ready to welcome us on his galleon!
Once the entire 'crew' is assembled, we will be ready to set sail. We will leave San Vito Lo Capo , passing by the Tonnara del Secco, and then reach the Zingaro Nature Reserve, a marine area rich in biodiversity surrounded by thick Mediterranean scrub.
We will visit all 7 coves in the reserve, some of which can only be reached by sea. Depending on the best conditions, we will stop off one of them to swim. Continuing the route, the galleon will take us to the majestic Faraglioni of Scopello, where we will have the opportunity to take our second swim of the day. Both stops will last about 30 minutes.
During the tour, lunch or an apericena (depending on the time selected) based on typical Sicilian products will be served on board, wine or soft drinks of your choice included.
We will finally return to the meeting point after about 4 hours of excursion .
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits; unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 must have signed parental authorisation.
Children from 0 to 5 years old can participate at the reduced cost of €5.00 only in the presence of at least two paying adults.
The boat is wheelchair and pushchair accessible : please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to request boarding assistance.
Other information
Attention! The 'Reduced Children' option can only be purchased with the purchase of two full-fare tickets; in the case of a smaller number, please select the 'Reduced' option. Any bookings that do not meet this requirement will not be accepted.
The experience takes place from June to September and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 10 participants.
On-site parking is available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Theboat is a 24-metre-long galleon equipped with a shaded area with seating, a shower, an ascending ladder and a toilet. Shoes are allowed on board.
Small dogs are allowed on board but are not allowed to swim: contact the skipper at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request to bring your four-legged friend on board.
If you have food allergies and/or intolerances, please bring your own packed lunch.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
