Close your eyes and imagine: the gentle rustling of centuries-old olive trees , the country breeze and a view stretching all the way to the sea. In Roccastrada, in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, an unusual stay in a 20 m² glamping tent awaits you.
During your stay, you can cool off in the pool, practise yoga or take part in cookery classes, but that’s not all: you’ll also receive a picnic basket containing an aperitif and local wine, so you can toast the sunset with whoever you like!
And if you want to double the relaxation, you can choose to book for either 1 night or 2 nights!
What we will do
Check-in is from 3. 00 pm in Roccastrada (GR). On arrival, you will be welcomed by the staff and shown to your accommodation.
You will be staying in the Ottagono accommodation, a 20 m² glamping tent on a wooden platform featuring handcrafted furnishings, a double bed and large windows overlooking the olive grove. The accommodation features a private outdoor kitchen equipped with a hob, moka pot and crockery, so you can enjoy relaxing moments in the open air; as well as a private en-suite bathroom located just a short walk away in the central wooden building, fitted with a toilet, washbasin and hot outdoor shower.
During the day, you can cool off with a dip in the infinity pool, set on a terrace amongst dry-stone walls with views stretching all the way to the sea.
To make your stay even more special, you can book a range of extra activities on site: a pasta-making class with a local chef, a yoga session on the terrace or a relaxing massage (services not included) .
As the sun sets, you’ll enjoy an aperitif and light supper in a picnic basket (included) , comprising a mixed starter for two people, local produce and a bottle of wine.
Check-out is by 10. 00 am the following morning. In the booking form, you can select the ‘1 night’ or ‘2 nights’ option.
Who it is aimed at
The accommodation is designed for adult couples. The tent can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 1 child: any additional children sleep on an extra single bed at a cost of €15 per night; children under 3 years of age stay in their parents’ bed free of charge.
The accommodation is not wheelchair accessible.

Accommodation is available from May to October. Check-in is from 3. 00 pm until 7. 00 pm: please contact the property using the details provided in your booking confirmation email to let them know your arrival time. Late check-out is available at a cost of €10. 00 per person; access to communal areas is available until 12. 00.

Dogs are not permitted inside the accommodation.
The property cannot be reached by public transport; free on-site parking is available.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
