'The beaches of Gaeta are seven, they are seven'!
In reality, the cute little song refers to the number of the kings of Rome. But a little further on, overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, are Gaeta's seven beaches, which can be visited during our guided gozzo excursion.
Afour-hour experience, with unmissable bathing stops in the most scenic natural settings on the coast!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Gaeta (LT). We will be welcomed by the skipper aboard his gozzo.
Once we have finished boarding all the passengers, we will set sail to discover the seven beaches of Gaeta. Our first stop will be the Beach of Serapo, where we will learn more about the myth of the ship of the same name; we will then pass by the Beach of Fontania to reach the Beach of the 40 Oars, accessible only by sea, where we will stop for a 30-minute swim .
Our next stop will be the Spiaggia dell'Ariana, followed by the Spiaggia Arenauta and the Spiaggia di San Vito. We will then arrive at the Sant'Agostino beach, the last of the Gaeta beaches, where we will stop for a second 30-minute bathing stop .
We will finally return to the meeting point, admiring the sea caves that characterise the coastline. The experience will last a total of 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult on board. Children aged 0 to 3 years participate free of charge but must report their presence on board by contacting the skipper at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible, which is stowed in the port, but people with reduced mobility are welcome on board and are asked to contact the skipper at the contact details given in the booking confirmation email to request boarding support.
Other information
The experience takes place from May to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
On-site parking is available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Theboat is a 9.8-metre long cabin cruiser equipped with a sundeck, shade area and toilet. On board one remains barefoot. Dogs are not allowed on board.
On board there are explanatory brochures in English describing the main attractions that can be seen during the excursion.
