Full description
Caprera, is the name of your destination. Maelchi, is the name of the vintage Maddalena go zzo on which you will embark to reach it!
Join our gozzo tour in theLa Maddalena Archipelago: spend a day discovering the attractions of one of the main islands, from Giuseppe Garibaldi's house to the Candeo Fortification.
Our skipper will stop at the best natural settings for swimming stops and will toast with you at a Sardinian aperitif!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at 09:30 at the meeting point in La Maddalena (SS). I am your skipper and I will welcome you aboard my vintage Maddalena gozzo, the most characteristic boat to ply the Sardinian sea!
Once we have finished embarking, our adventure in theLa Maddalena Archipelago will begin: we will circumnavigate the island of Caprera, spotting the main attractions. These will include Giuseppe Garibaldi's House, the Candeo Fortification, the Punta Rossa Forts, and the Caprera International Sailing Centre. On board, the crew will not fail to tell the history and curiosities of the places of interest encountered during the navigation.
Along the way, there will be at least three bathroom stops and an aperitif (included) consisting of: carasau bread, sausage, semi-seasoned pecorino cheese and assorted fruit, paired with wine, homemade myrtle and non-alcoholic drinks.
We will return to the meeting point at approximately 17:30, for a total experience of 8 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or have signed authorisation.
It is not necessary to know how to swim to participate; swimming stops are usually made where you touch.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible; people with reduced mobility are welcome on board, subject to notification of their presence to the organiser at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail.
Other information
The experience is available from May to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 5 participants.
The activity takes place subject to weather and sea conditions at the organiser's discretion.
The boat is the "Maelchi", a vintage Maddalena gozzo built in 1973 and recently restored with the use of precious woods. It is equipped with a large sundeck at the bow, a dinette at the stern with awning and cushions, an exposed deck and iroko head, mahogany sickle, a stern deck and freshwater shower. It is equipped with a 60 hp Italian Lombardini engine.
The boat is not accessible with footwear: you stand barefoot on board; participants who cannot stand barefoot may wear clean footwear.
The boat is not accessible to dogs.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
