Meet the most authentic Abruzzo (and its friendly inhabitants) by taking part in this experience!
You will visit a local farm inhabited by the dog Lampo, the pony Birillo, the hen Aletta and many other animal friends. You will interact directly with them by feeding them, cuddling them and... collecting their eggs!
Anexperience of over 1 hour, which you can choose to enrich with a tasting of the farm's products.
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Bazzano, a hamlet in the municipality of L'Aquila. We will be welcomed by a guide who will accompany us on a tour of his farm and farmstead.
Having gathered all the participants, the experience will begin by listening to the history of this farm located in the heart of Abruzzo and born out of the owner's love for his land. We will then get to know its inhabitants: the dog Lampo, the pony Birillo, the hen Aletta, and many other friendly animals such as bunnies, sheep, quails and ducks swimming in their pond. We can interact directly with the animals by feeding them, cuddling them and even collecting eggs!
It will also be possible to enrich the experience with a tasting of the farm's products (included in the "farm visit + tasting" option): cold meats, cheeses and cereals made from black maize, a now-forgotten crop that the owner wanted to recover and enhance as a characteristic of the area.
The experience will last about 1½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult. Children aged 0 to 6 years participate free of charge, except for the tasting.
The activity is suitable for people with disabilities. In the case of persons with disabilities, please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate their presence.

Attention! The meeting point is located in Bazzano, about 5 km from the centre of L'Aquila.
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed on reaching a minimum number of 2 paying participants.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
