Don’t just settle for sipping a glass at a bar counter; in Cembra, you can walk on the porphyry soil that gives rise to those aromas, before retreating to a quaint wooden mountain hut tucked away in the heart of the terraced vineyards.
Join this vineyard tour and wine tasting in Val di Cembra. A guided food and wine experience lasting one and a half hours, exploring Trentino’s ‘heroic’ viticulture.
What we will do
The event will take place at the selected time at Tenuta Gottardi in Cembra (TN). On arrival at the winery, we will be welcomed by the staff and will begin the tour straight away.
We’ll begin with a guided walk of around 30 minutes through the estate’s vineyards. Along the way, we’ll learn first-hand about the characteristics of the soil, the vines’ exposure and the estate’s artisanal production philosophy.
At the end of the walk, we’ll reach a charming mountain hut nestled amongst the rows of vines, with spacious indoor and outdoor areas, where we’ll settle in to begin the guided tasting, which lasts about an hour.
All options are accompanied by a generous platter of locally produced cured meats, regional cheeses and honey, but you can personalise your tasting when booking by choosing from three different options:
- 2 wines: you’ll embark on a journey through the world of sparkling wines with a tasting of two exceptional spumantos, specifically a Trento DOC and a Trento DOC Riserva;
- 3 wines: this includes a glass of Trento DOC, a white wine and a still red wine;
- 5 wines: the tasting will include a glass of Trento DOC, two different white wines and two different red wines.
The activity lasts a total of 1½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The wine tasting is for adults only. For any accompanying minors and non-drinkers, non-alcoholic drinks are available, such as local apple juice, elderflower juice or blueberry juice.
The venue is wheelchair accessible : in such cases, part of the tour through the vineyard is undertaken by car, with stops at scenic viewpoints to allow visitors to enjoy the view and listen to the guide’s explanations.
Other information
The activity is available all year round, except on Christmas Day and Easter Sunday.
Dogs are allowed on the tour, provided they are kept on a lead.

Free, unguarded parking is available on site. The meeting point is accessible by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
