Yes, it's Hagrid's hut. No, it's not a Fred and George joke.
For you who are still waiting for the letter from Hogwarts - after all this time? Always - the most magical night of your life is coming.
Stay in the hills of the Tuscan Maremma in a hut that seems to have come straight out of the pages of books. A Harry Potter-themed accommodation, true to the spirit of our favourite half-giant!
What we will do
Check-in is from 4. 00 pm at the property in Civitella Paganico (GR). On arrival, you will be welcomed by the reception staff and shown to your accommodation, Casa di Hagrid, set within an 85-hectare farm in the Tuscan Maremma.
The hut is every Potterhead’s dream and faithfully recreates the exterior of the Hogwarts gamekeeper’s cottage. Inside, a wealth of magical objects – including the Sorting Hat – combine with the comforts of glamping.
The accommodation features a double bed (with the option to add two single beds, for Weasley-style families) and a private bathroom with a shower, toilet, washbasin, bidet, hairdryer and organic toiletries. There’s no need to cast spells like ‘Incendio’ or ‘Glacius’: thanks to the hot/cold air conditioning, the cabin is cosy all year round.
And no, it’s not just a Muggle gimmick, because everything has been thought through down to the smallest detail: an outdoor relaxation area; incense, essential oils and candles for that extra touch of magic; a wide selection of herbal teas and infusions; a jug of hot and cold water, Wi-Fi and a mini-bar with drinks (for a fee) . Bed linen, towels and bath towels are included.
The accommodation is ideally situated for exploring some of Tuscany’s most beautiful landscapes: about a 40-minute drive from Siena and the Val d’Orcia, and a short distance from the Uccellina Nature Reserve.
You can choose to enhance your stay with a range of optional activities payable on site, such as an aperitif, a locally sourced dinner with a seasonal menu,exclusive access to the hot tub ( a larch wood tub with heated water) , e-bike hire to explore the surrounding area, and a 4x4 tour to discover the Maremma.
The buffet breakfast is included and is served in the Sala Grande from 8. 00 am to 10. 00 am, featuring sweet items and, on request, savoury options at no extra cost.
Check-out is by 10. 30 am.
Who it is aimed at
Hagrid's House is ideal for a couple, but can accommodate up to 4 people.
A surcharge of €30 is payable locally for each additional single bed (max. 2) . For children sleeping in their parents' bed, only breakfast (€10) is payable locally. To communicate the presence of a child or request an additional bed, please contact the property at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
The accommodation is not wheelchair accessible.

Accommodation is available all year round. Check-in is from 16: 00 and check-out by 10: 30. Please communicate your arrival time to the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
Small dogs (up to 3. 5 kg) are allowed free of charge, subject to prior notification.
The tourist tax of 2€ per person (except for children under 8 years old) , to be paid on site in cash, is not included in the fee.
The following additional services are available, to be booked directly with the hotel and paid on site
- aperitif served at the hotel, 20€ per couple;
- dinner in the dining room with a seasonal menu, 55€ per couple, drinks not included;
- bivouac dinner under the stars (April to October) or in the room, 65€ per couple, excluding drinks;
- Hot Tub with exclusive access, 50€ per couple;
- e-bike rental, 20€ for half a day, 40€ for full day.
In the event of allergies and/or food intolerances, please inform the hotel in advance.
The facility cannot be reached by public transport. On request, a shuttle service is available (€10 per couple) from the Civitella Marittima and Paganico stations. Free parking is available at the accommodation.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
