Full description
Experience the thrill of a half-day sailing excursion as you sail along Palermo's coastline with its deep blue sea and typical Mediterranean scents and colours.
Visit Arenella Beach, a wide stretch of golden sand stretching along a golden bay to a rocky promontory on Sicily's east coast .
Admire the panorama where Mount Pellegrino, a mountainous relief that juts out into the Tyrrhenian Sea to the northern end of the Gulf of Palermo, stands out.
But it doesn't end there: an aperitif with typical local products and anopen bar with beer, wine and soft drinks await you.
What we will do
The rendezvous is at the time selected during the booking process in Palermo, where we will embark on a beautiful sailboat. Once all participants are seated on board, we will be ready to set sail.
During the sailing you will admire the beauty of the Palermo coastline and the Arenella beach, characterised by golden sand, pebbles, and a sea changing from turquoise to blue.
Arriving at the foot of Mount Pellegrino, we will be in front of the renowned Hotel Villa Igea where we will dock. Once you have dropped anchor, you can cool off by diving into the blue waters of the Palermo sea.
It will be two hours of full fun during which you will also enjoy an aperitif with typical products and an open bar with beer, wine, and soft drinks. Everything will be accompanied by good music.
After the stop, we will resume navigation and calmly return to the starting point. The tour lasts four hours.
Who it is aimed at
The hike is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children up to 3 years of age participate free of charge.
The activity is not accessible to disabled persons.
Other information
The tour is available from April to November, weather conditions permitting, and is confirmed upon reaching 2 participants.
Depending on availability and the number of participants, you will board the 11-metre Beneteau First sailing boat or the 12-metre Florence 39 , both of which are comfortable and fully equipped. Dogs are allowed on board.
In case of allergies, intolerances or other dietary requirements, please inform the organiser well in advance (you will receive the contact details in your booking confirmation e-mail).
The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
