Full description
You haven't really been to Palermo if you haven't taken a dip in the sea of the Palermitans: the bay of Mondello.
Treat yourself to a dip in Mondello and the Capo Gallo Nature Reserve by joining our half-day boat tour. Besides enjoying the beauty of Mondello, you can even visit the Grotta dell'Olio with its deep blue sea.
And that's not all, either, because after three bathroom stops your stomach starts to growl. But don't worry, the crew takes care of everything, even preparing a typical Palermo aperitif with panelle and wine!
What we will do
The rendezvous is in Mondello (PA), where the skipper will be waiting for us. After settling in on board, we will set off in the direction of Mondello, where our first swimming stop is planned.
After that, we will reach the Capo Gallo Nature Reserve, where we will make our second swimming stop, diving into the reserve's blue waters. If weather and sea conditions permit, we will enter the Grotta dell'Olio, with its majestic 109-metre-high domed vault. We will thus have the unique experience of bathing in the cave.
The last stop on the tour is the beach at Barcarello, where we will dive into the water for the third and final bathing stop. Each stop lasts about 30 minutes, just enough time to really enjoy the sea of this enchanting stretch of Sicilian coastline.
At the end of the experience, there will be anaperitif on board (included) with a tasty buffet of panelle, canapés and seasonal fruit, all accompanied by beer, wine and water. The tour lasts a total of 3½ hours and ends with the return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.

The activity is held from April to November and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
The meeting point can also be reached by public transport.
The motor boat planned for the excursion is 10 metres long and 4 metres wide. On board there is a bathroom, shower, refrigerator, stereo for music, seats with comfortable cushions and a sun shade.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
