Full description
You can't really say you've been to Sardinia without seeing the island of Tavolara and taking a swim in the Molara Natural Pools.
With our half-day boat excursion, you can visit both in total comfort and tranquillity.
Thanks to the private formula, in fact, you can customise the bathing stops and their duration. All you have to do is make an agreement with the skipper and decide, for example, to explore the white seabed of Molara with mask and flippers or to stay longer on the picturesque island of Tavolara.
On board you will not just have a skipper, but a true expert in local legends who will entertain you with fascinating stories about the magnificent places you will visit. Get ready to set sail!
What we will do
We will meet in Porto Ottiolu (SS), where the skipper will be waiting for us on board the boat. After settling on board, we will set off forProratora Island, where we will make our first swimming stop.
Once back on board, we will head towards the Molara Natural Pools. We will thus experience diving into waters of an intense turquoise colour, enhanced by the white sandy seabed. A 30-minute stop at the pools is planned, but if the wonder of this place deserves a longer swim, we can easily ask the skipper to extend the stop.
The third stop is theisland of Tavolara, a large granite rock that juts 580 metres out of the water. We will reach the island by skirting the coastline with its sheer cliffs and small inlets. During the navigation we will be able to take out our smartphones and cameras to immortalise even the Madonnina that can be glimpsed in an inlet.
At Tavolara we will go ashore and stay there for about 30 minutes, after which we will head to the Spiaggia degli Scogli Piatti. At the beach, also known as Cala Farfalle, we will make another swimming stop and admire the famous turtle-shaped rock.
The last leg of the excursion takes in the Gulf of Capo Coda Cavallo. The boat will approach Cala Brandicchi, but without docking, so that we can take a last dive before returning to the starting point.
The tour lasts a total of four and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone, with no age limit.
The boat is accessible to people with motor disabilities. However, there are no devices on board to facilitate getting into the water during bathing stops.
Other information

The boat is 8.80 metres long, 3 metres wide and licensed for 27 people. The staff, however, has chosen to allow a maximum of 12 passengers in order to ensure greater comfort during the tour.
