Full description
Adrenaline, nature and taste: this buggy tour through the Calabrian mountains has all the ingredients for a day of pure fun.
Your experience will begin in Decollatura, the first stop on an excursion that will take you up Mount Reventino, through pine forests, rocks shrouded in legends, and panoramic viewpoints.
At the end of the 4-hour tour, you will stop at a farmhouse for lunch (or dinner, depending on the time you choose), a worthy conclusion to this adventure on four wheels!
What we will do
The meeting point is Decollatura (CZ), 15 minutes before the time chosen at the time of booking.
On arrival, we will be welcomed by the guide, who will give us a briefing before departure to explain the characteristics of the buggy and the driving rules. We will test drive this vehicle, which is really easy to drive on dirt tracks thanks to its 4 wheels.
Once this introductory part is over, we will climb into our vehicles and venture out to discover Mount Reventino, a mountain massif in Calabria that represents the western extension of Sila Piccola. We will tackle a mainly unpaved route of around 60 km.
On the way up, we will stop at Pietra di Fota, a large monolithic rock hidden among the trees. We will take a short walk around this natural attraction and discover the legends related to its origin.
We will then set off again to cross a pine forest and reach the top of Mount Reventino. Continuing on, we will descend on the opposite slope, reaching the Croce di Conflenti by an entirely off-road route. This 25-metre high white cement cross is certainly the symbol of the village and has been placed in a panoramic spot from which, on clear days, you can even see the sea.
Once we have completed our descent, we will stop at an agritourism for lunch (or dinner, depending on the time chosen when booking), which will include an appetiser, a first course, water and coffee.
The experience will last about 4 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone, from 5 years of age for passengers.
To drive the buggy you must be at least 16 years old and have an A1, B1 or B driving licence. Minors with a driving licence can participate on their own, without a parent present.

The excursion is available all year round, every day.
The price quoted is per buggy: you can book for 1 driver (single buggy) or for 1 driver and 1 passenger (double buggy). The centre has 4 buggies, for a maximum of 8 participants.
Driver and passenger can swap driving at any point on the route, as long as they both have a licence. Overtaking or reckless manoeuvres are forbidden: should irresponsible behaviour on the part of drivers occur, the guide is entitled to interrupt the excursion.
In the event of food allergies or intolerances, please inform the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
Dogs can participate in this experience, but please note that the hike involves a rather rough off-road route.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport from Lamezia Terme. There is a car park on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
