Full description
Turquoise sea, beaches and mysterious caves: you will find this and much more with the dinghy excursion in the Golfo degli Angeli in Sardinia.
Thanks to the presence of an experienced skipper, you will get to know hidden places on the Sella del Diavolo promontory that can only be reached from the sea, such as the splendid Poetto beach. On board the 10-metre dinghy equipped with every comfort, you will admire the breathtaking views of this stretch of coastline and take advantage of the stops for swimming and snorkelling.
It will be a day full of emotions and impossible to forget. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
The appointment is at the time indicated during the booking process at the meeting point in Cagliari (CA). Upon our arrival, we will be welcomed by the skipper and led onto the dinghy. Once all the participants have gathered on board, we will set off to discover the Gulf of Angels.
Our first stop will be the marvellous reef of Calamosca, where we will be able to enjoy a swim, snorkelling and diving. We will also be lucky enough to admire the ancient Spanish tower dating back to 1600 and the suggestive Calamosca lighthouse.
Our navigation will then continue towards our second stop, the legendary Sella del Diavolo (The Devil's Saddle). It is said, in fact, that Lucifer, bewitched by the beauty of the Gulf of Cagliari, tried to take it over, losing his saddle during a battle between angels and demons.
The devil, thrown from his horse by the archangel Michael, dropped his saddle on the waters of the gulf and... you can discover the rest of the story while admiring the view and listening to the skipper's fascinating stories!
Leaving our second stop, we will head towards the Poetto Beach, which stretches for about 12 kilometres. During the three stops, we will be able to dive from the dinghy, snorkel and refresh ourselves with soft drinks on board.
The excursion has a total duration of 3 hours and ends with the return to the port of Cagliari.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not accessible to wheelchairs or persons with reduced mobility.
For safety reasons, it is not recommended in case of cardiovascular disease or obesity.
Other information
The excursion is available from April to October, weather permitting, and will be confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
The boat can be a 10-metre or 7.5-metre dinghy complete with awning, cushions, platform and safety equipment. Barefoot on board.
Parking is available on site; the meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
