5-hour enduro motorbike tour to discover the Lima Valley

Our guide, Partner Destination Yamaha Motor, is waiting for you to whizz off together to discover the Lima Valley: on board a Yamaha Ténéré 700 Enduro motorbike, you'll venture through nature and medieval villages such as the unmissable ghost town of Lucchio. There will also be a lunch break in a refuge, to recharge your batteries before getting back on the saddle.

Start warming up the engine, it's time to get serious!

What we will do

The appointment is 20 minutes before 09:00 at the meeting point in San Cassiano di Controne in the municipality of Bagni di Lucca (LU). Awaiting us will be the guide, Partner Destination Yamaha Motor, who will accompany us on this adventure!

Once the participants have gathered, the assignment of the Yamaha Ténéré 700 Enduro motorbike and equipment will take place. This will be followed by a briefing, during which the guide will provide all useful information for a carefree experience, and a test ride, to gain confidence with the bike. This first moment will last about 15 minutes.

And here we are ready for our enduro motorbike tour to discover the Lima Valley! We will venture along an easy route consisting of 90% asphalt and 10% dirt, for a taste of adrenaline. From the starting point, we will descend into the valley to cross the Lima torrent and then climb up the slopes of the mountains on the opposite side. We will ride through nature and medieval villages, such as the ghost town of Lucchio where we will stop to visit the Rocca, an ancient medieval bastion that dominates the valley.

Back in the saddle, we will continue towards the Doganaccia 2000 area, until we reach a refuge located at an altitude of 1,546 metres. It is here that we will stop for our lunch break, which can take place outside, enjoying our packed lunch, or inside, taking advantage of the fixed menu available at the refuge.

At the end of the lunch break, we will return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 5 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The participant must be at least 18 years old.

A valid A driving licence is required to participate as a driver. Equivalent foreign driving licences are accepted.

To participate as a driver, the ability to drive a motorbike is required.

The route is of an easy level and suitable for first experience with enduro motorbikes.

Other information

The experience takes place from March to November.

The driver's blood alcohol level must be 0: a breathalyser is available on site for possible checks.

Protections and boots can be hired on site at a cost of €20.00: contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request the service with payment on site.

The experience includes the possibility of a fixed-menu lunch at the refuge: contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request the service with payment on site.

On site, there are changing rooms with toilets, showers and unlocked lockers. It is possible to leave any personal items in the organiser's custody.

There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
