Full description
Have you ever seen Alghero from the sea? Its ancient walls seem to float on the water, while the coastline hides coves and beaches waiting to be discovered.
Set off on an adventure with our gozzo tour along the coast of Alghero, a 3-hour cruise with spectacular views, stops for swimming, snorkelling and a toast of fresh vermentino wine with snacks on board.
During the excursion the skipper will tell you stories and curiosities about this part of the north-western coast of Sardinia: a corner of paradise you will fall in love with!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Alghero (SS).
Awaiting us will be the skipper and environmental guide, who will accompany us on our excursion aboard a traditional gozzo.
We will set sail along the Aragonese walls that embrace the old town of Alghero. From here the view will be spectacular: we will be able to recognise the Sulis Tower, the Marco Polo and Christopher Columbus bastions and, in the background, the Capo Caccia promontory.
We will then reach a cove south of the city, where we will stop for a swim of about an hour, with the possibility of snorkelling thanks to the equipment provided on board.
We will resume sailing to make a second stop in the crystal-clear waters of the Bay of Alghero, in the Lazzaretto or Bombarde area, depending on weather conditions. Here we can relax with another bathing stop of about an hour.
During the excursion, a toast with fresh Vermentino wine will be offered, accompanied by savoury snacks such as chips, peanuts, olives or taralli.
We will then slowly return to Alghero, lulled by the sea and the breeze. The activity will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 5 and up; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not accessible to wheelchairs or persons with reduced mobility.
It is preferable to inform the organisers of the presence of pregnant women: contact them at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail.

The activity takes place from May to October and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
Theboat used is an 8-metre gozzo, equipped with an awning, cushions, a freshwater shower, a platform and an ascending ladder. No shoes are worn on board.

Dogs are not allowed on board.

The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
