You will set off from the Gulf of Castellammare and board a wooden gozzo boat to explore one of the most fascinating coastlines in western Sicily , between turquoise sea and hidden coves. You will sail along the Zingaro Nature Reserve, stopping for a dip in iconic bays amidst sea caves, nature, history, and crystal-clear sea!

What we will do
We’ll meet 30 minutes before the scheduled time in Castellammare del Golfo, in the province of Trapani. On arrival, we’ll meet the crew on board the wooden gozzo and receive a brief introductory briefing on the itinerary, the planned stops and how the day at sea will unfold.
We’ll set sail from the Gulf of Castellammare, heading along the coast towards some of the area’s most picturesque spots. Our first stop will be Cala Bianca, where we’ll stop for a swim for about 15 minutes. We’ll then continue towards the Faraglioni of Scopello and the historic Tonnara, where we’ll make a second stop to admire the scenery and take a dip in the sea.
Next, we’ll enter the Zingaro Nature Reserve, sailing along stretches of unspoilt coastline and reaching Cala dell’Uzzo for another stop in the water. During the trip, we’ll also pass by distinctive sea caves and coves such as the Grotta degli Innamorati and the Grotta dei Piccioni. The route follows several kilometres of rugged coastline, featuring the bays and cliffs typical of western Sicily.
Aperitifs will be served at the Tonnara di Scopello and will include pane cunzato, crisps, peanuts, prosecco or soft drinks.
Finally, after around 4 hours’ excursion, we’ll return to the starting point.

This experience is suitable for everyone. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The activity is accessible to people with mobility difficulties, provided advance notice is given.

The experience is available from June to October. The trip is confirmed subject to a minimum of 4 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions, at the captain’s discretion.
The boat is a wooden gozzo fitted with cushions, sunbathing areas, seating at the stern, a boarding ladder, a shower and on-board toilets, as well as music whilst sailing. You must go barefoot on board.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
