How about setting sail on ahalf-day boat trip from Portoferraio, discovering the northern coast of the Island of Elba?
You will sail on board a private boat at the complete disposal of your crew of a maximum of 6 people, choosing the duration of the stops and taking your time to admire the marvellous landscapes you will encounter.
You'll experience an authentic walk on the sea and, thanks to the presence of the skipper, you'll discover many curiosities about the Scoglietto biological protection zone and Napoleon's residence.
What we will do
The tour will depart at the time agreed upon at the time of booking from Portoferraio, a typical fishing village and the main port of theIsland of Elba.
On leaving the port, after a few minutes of sailing, you will reach the biological protection area of the Scoglietto. You will immediately enjoy a stop near the Scoglietto di Portoferraio, a splendid islet surmounted by a lighthouse, the symbol of this marine protected area. Here you can take a swim and admire the caves and ravines that open along the cliff and offer shelter to many fish.
After about an hour and a half 's sail along the north coast, during which the skipper will take you to one of Napoleon's majestic residences, you can stop in front of two beautiful coves that can only be reached by sea. This will be the ideal time to take a refreshing swim and put on your snorkelling mask, admiring the fascinating seabed.
Back on board, you will resume your return voyage. You will enjoy a not-to-be-missed stop at a beach enclosed by sheer cliffs for one last swim, lasting about 30 minutes.
The excursion will last about 4 hours in total and will end with the return to Portoferraio.

The excursion is suitable for everyone from the age of 3.
Swimming skills are recommended (life jackets are provided on board).

The tour is available daily from April to October.
The boat available for the tour is a motor boat, 5.80 metres long, with a maximum capacity of 6 persons in addition to the skipper, and is equipped with sundecks and life jackets.
Changes to the itinerary can be agreed with the skipper; for this reason, fuel is not included in the participation fee. The fee will be payable on site at the end of the experience and will depend on the number and duration of stops.
A car park is available 20 metres from the meeting point; the meeting point can also be reached by public transport.
Small and medium-sized animals are allowed on board. You must bring towels for your four-legged friend on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
