Full description
Get on the quad bike and enjoy a unique and exciting 60 km long experience in the hinterland of Sardinia. You will visit the San Lussorio area, make a stop at the Usuonu fountain, and ride through majestic landscapes, with views of the sea and mountains, amidst the intense scent of the Mediterranean maquis.
The tour will also take you to Pedra Longa, characterised by the majesty of a beautiful granite rock and waters that fade between green and blue, where you can stop for a 30-minute swim.
Get ready for 3 hours of continuous and fascinating discovery!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the meeting point in Tortolì, in the province of Nuoro, at the time chosen at the time of booking. After a briefing of about half an hour, we will begin our magnificent excursion.
From this town on the central-eastern coast of Sardinia, famous for the beauty of its beaches, we will set off by quad towards the first stop on the tour, the area of San Lussorio, where we will be able to admire a rural church.
We will then take a break at the fountain of Usuonu and arrive in Baunei before continuing on to Pedra Longa, with its crystal-clear blue-green sea. Here we will stop for a bathing stop of about half an hour, after which we will resume our journey and reach Santa Maria Navarrese, a hamlet of the municipality of Baunei, where the almost unspoilt Mediterranean maquis reigns supreme.
During the 60-km route on a mainly dirt road, you will be able to photograph wonderful landscapes with their natural and monumental wonders.
At the end of our tour we will return to Tortolì. The total duration of the experience will be 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is open to everyone, from 10 years of age for passengers. The driver of the quad bike must be over 18 years of age and hold a B driving licence (or equivalent foreign driving licence).
Other information
The quad bike excursion is available from April to November and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 3 booked quads.
It is permitted to swap the driving of the quad bike as long as both drivers have a B licence. In this case, they must present the documents of both during registration.
The fee indicated refers to the quad bike. Each quad can carry two persons, a driver and a passenger. There are 4 quad bikes available, with a maximum total of 8 participants.
