To cool off properly, we have a much more interesting option: 4 hours sailing along the coast of Palermo, including a real breeze , clear sea and an aperitif with local specialities.
Set sail aboard the Rosalia, sail to Marina di Villa Igea and between dips, toasts and laughter, you can even try your hand at helming!
Forget rotating paddles: here the wind is at your back!
What we will do
The rendezvous is 30 minutes before 10 a.m. at the meeting point in Palermo (PA). The skipper will welcome us on board the sailing boat Rosalia and once all the participants have gathered, we will be ready to set sail.
We will open the sails and sail towards the Marina di Villa Igea, a stretch of sea that can be reached in about 50 minutes of sailing. During navigation, if we wish, it will be possible to try to steer and assist the skipper during manoeuvres.
When we arrive at our destination, we will have a long break of about 2 hours to enjoy a swim in total tranquillity. On board we will also find a SUP board and a tender to reach the nearest beach.
After a refreshing dip, on board we will be served an aperitif of local products such as calzoncini (shorts) and panelle (bread rolls), accompanied by soft drinks and spritz to toast in good company!
We will then tackle the return leg with afurther hour of sailing, lulled by the wind and the sound of the waves.
We will finally return to the meeting point. The activity will last approximately 4 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all, with no age limit; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Infants (0-1 year) participate free of charge.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible, but people with reduced mobility are welcome on board: contact the skipper at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request boarding support.

The activity takes place from May to October, and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 4 participants.
The itinerary may vary according to weather conditions at the skipper's discretion.
Theboat is a 13.60 m Elan 45 Impression, equipped with 4 cabins, 2 bathrooms, SUP, dinghy, and on-board refrigerator. You stay barefoot on board.
Dogs are allowed on request: contact the skipper at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request to bring your four-legged friend on board.
Free and/or paid parking spaces are available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
