Get ready for 4 hours of pure delight on a boat in the Secca delle Formiche - Capo Zafferano Marine Reserve in Sicily.
Departing from the Gulf of Palermo, you will immerse yourself in the tranquillity of this nature reserve beloved for snorkelling and admire the views of Capo Mongerbino, Cappello di Napoleone and the lighthouse of Capo Zafferano. Between swims, you can enjoy the best of Sicilian gastronomy with an aperitif on board.

What we will do
We will meet at the selected time at the meeting point in Palermo. Theboat crew will be ready to welcome us and take us on board to begin our tour.
Once we have finished boarding passengers and served a welcome cocktail of Prosecco or Spritz (included), we will set sail for the Secca delle Formiche - Capo Zafferano Marine Reserve.
We will cross the Gulf of Palermo and Porta Marina and stop for a swim in the Baia dei Francesi, one of the most beautiful and wildest beaches on the Palermo coastline.
Back on board, we will continue on to Capo Mongerbino, theBlue Arch, the Tre Piscine cove, Napoleon's Hat, the lighthouse at Capo Zafferano and the Seno di Sant'Elia, a picturesque cove at the bottom of a rocky inlet. Each stop will offer us the opportunity to take wonderful souvenir photos of our tour.
Amidst music, sunbathing and postcard-perfect scenery, on board we will also be able to enjoy an excellent aperitif with specialities from Palermo and elsewhere, such as pane cunzato, sfincionelli, bruschetta, chips, pretzels and olives.
After the stop at the Seno di Sant'Elia we will reverse course to return to the meeting point. The activity will last a total of 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone with no age limit. Minors must necessarily be accompanied.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The experience is available all year round; no bathing stops are planned during the winter months.
The activity is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
Dogs are allowed on board.
Depending on the size of the group, one of the following boats is used for the excursion:
- Acquamar 28.50, motor boat 10 m long, max. capacity 10 persons, equipped with awning, sofas, shaded area, bathroom, kitchen, 2 cabins, freshwater shower, Bluetooth stereo;
- San Lorenzo 40, motor boat 13 m long, max. capacity 15 people, equipped with bathroom, 2 cabins, galley, large sunbathing area, shaded aft area, shower, Bluetooth system
- Rivercraft 50 Fly, a motor boat 16.5 m long and 4.34 m wide, max. capacity 20 persons, equipped with a freshwater shower, shaded sundeck area, WC, kitchen and bedrooms. Wi-Fi and a Bluetooth sound system are also available on board.
In the summer months, departures can also be made from the port of Mondello, subject to the skipper's availability. Contact the organiser at the contact details given in the booking confirmation to arrange this option.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
