With this helicopter flight in Rome you not only enjoy the most spectacular view of the Eternal City, but also have the chance to take the controls and experience the thrill of piloting.
A professional pilot will be at your side to guide you through vertical take-off, manoeuvres at altitude and cabin secrets. You let the adrenaline do the rest: you will not only fly, you will be a pilot for a day.
What we will do
The appointment is in Rome, where you will meet the professional pilot who will accompany you on this adventure. It starts with a theoretical briefing: a few essential tips to prepare you for the most electrifying experience there is, that of putting yourself at the controls.
Then you take off! You will climb aboard a Robinson R22, a helicopter with dual controls that will let you experience first-hand manoeuvres such as vertical take-off, turns, and even landing.
Always accompanied by your instructor, you will be able to focus only on the adrenaline and the pleasure of feeling the aircraft respond to your movements, in total safety. For regulatory reasons, you cannot fly over the town centre, but you will still enjoy a privileged perspective.
The activity has a total duration of about 1 hour, including 30 minutes of actual flight time on the airfields inside and outside the airport circuits.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 16; children under the age of 18 must have written and signed parental consent.
To participate, amaximum height of 180 cm and a maximum weight of 110 kg are required.
To participate, one must not have heart or circulatory problems.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the time chosen for the activity.
The experience can be booked all year round.
The flight takes place aboard aRobinson R22 helicopter with dual controls, carrying 1 pilot and 1 participant.
Cameras and video cameras can be used on board.
On the day of the activity you will need to bring with you an identity document in original format: identity card (for Italian or EU citizens) or passport (for non-EU citizens).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
