Are you looking for a truly special thrill? An exclusive helicopter flight over the skies of Rome will leave you breathless, but there's more: you'll be flying the helicopter yourself! Anextraordinary experience to live in person or to give as a gift to someone you love.
Climb aboard in complete safety with a professional pilot and discover all the secrets of the turbine engine and propeller, take a vertical take-off, and when you are aloft observe the world from above and be amazed by its beauty.
You will become a pilot for a day and experience all the stages of a helicopter flight. Are you ready for take-off?
What we will do
The meeting point will be at Rome Urbe Airport, where we will meet the professional pilot who will accompany us in the experience. We will begin with a theoretical briefing where basic notions and rules will be explained to us, which we will then put into practice during the flight.
We will move to the take-off point and board a Robinson R22 helicopter. The dual-controlled aircraft will give you the opportunity to perform all flight manoeuvres first-hand, including take-off, turning, and landing. Throughout the activity you will be flanked by the senior pilot who will ensure maximum safety.
The activity has a total duration of approximately 1 hour, including 30 minutes of actual flight time on the airfields inside and outside the airport circuits.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone, from 16 years of age and up to a weight of 109 kg. You must be in good physical condition and not suffer from heart or circulatory diseases. Minors must present a signed parental consent.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the time chosen for the activity.
The flight can be booked all year round. In the event of bad weather or other conditions requiring the activity to be suspended, you will be notified in advance by the organiser.
On the day of the activity, you must bring with you an identity document in original format: identity card (for Italian or EU citizens) or passport (for non-EU citizens).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
