Would you like to experience an adventure that few can recount?
With this helicopter flight in Rome, not only will you enjoy the most spectacular views of the Eternal City, but you’ll also have the chance to take the controls and experience the thrill of flying.
A professional pilot will be by your side to guide you through vertical take-off, manoeuvres at altitude and the secrets of the cockpit. Just let the adrenaline do the rest: you won’t just be flying – you’ll be a pilot for a day!
What we will do
Please arrive 15 minutes before your chosen time at the meeting point in Rome. Once there, you’ll meet the professional driver who’ll be taking you on this adventure!
We’ll start with a theoretical briefing: a few essential tips to prepare you for the most thrilling experience there is – taking the controls yourself.
Then it’s time to take off! You’ll climb aboard a Robinson R22 dual-control helicopter, which will let you experience manoeuvres such as vertical take-off, turns and even landing first-hand. With your instructor by your side at all times, you’ll be able to focus solely on the adrenaline rush and the pleasure of feeling the aircraft respond to your movements, in complete safety. For regulatory reasons, we cannot fly over built-up areas, but you’ll still enjoy a spectacular view!
The experience lasts approximately 1 hour in total, including 30 minutes of actual flight time over airfields both within and outside airport circuits.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for those aged 16 and over. Those under 18 must provide written consent signed by both parents.
To take part, you must be no taller than 180 cm and weigh no more than 110 kg.
To take part, you must not have any heart and/or circulatory problems.
Other information
The experience takes place all year round.
You are welcome to use cameras and video cameras during the flight.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
