Full description
The world is divided into two: those who watch the Matterhorn from below and those who land on it.
Imagine the sound of the engine charging you, the helicopter lifting the snow around you and that incredible moment when you touch the top of the mountain: this is the essence of heliskiing. Instead of using chairlifts and gondolas, you will use the private Sierra Alfa AS350 helicopter to reach peaks over 3, 000 metres above sea level and then embark on a spectacular freeride descent.
At your side will be a UIAGM-certified mountain guide, a mountain professional who knows every secret of this area. The guide will not only choose the most fun lines and the best snow for you, but will take care of every aspect of your safety and guide you step by step through this incredible experience.
What we will do
The meeting point is 45 minutes before the time indicated in the booking in the Cervinia area. Here you will meet your mountain guide who, after checking the necessary equipment, will give a comprehensive briefing on the experience.
When everything is ready, you will board the helicopter. The scenic flight to your chosen summit takes about 6-10 minutes and offers an incredible view of the Matterhorn and the large glaciers surrounding the area.
Once you have landed at altitude, the most awaited part will begin: the freeride descent. In the first section, the guide will assess the level of the group to ensure a fun and safe line. You will ski down immaculate slopes, immersed in silence and surrounded by expanses of fresh snow.
If you have chosen the option of 2 freeride descents, at the end of the first line you will find the helicopter waiting for you at the bottom of the valley to start immediately with another incredible descent on a different slope!
At the end of the activity, you will return to the starting point in time for lunch. The experience lasts a total of about 4 hours, leaving you free to relax or comment on the spectacular lines you have just drawn over a glass of local wine.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for all skiers and snowboarders with an intermediate to expert level. It is necessary to be able to ski down the black pistes safely and to already have some off-piste skiing experience.
To participate, the minimum age is 16; minors must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
