Full description
The sunset at Capo Vaticano is a must-see at least once in a lifetime!
Get ready to admire it on a 3-hour dinghy tour from Tropea, which will take you to discover the Blue Grotto, snorkel in the ancient Roman port of Formicoli , and swim in Riaci Bay.
A toast on the way back will be the perfect culmination of this excursion!
What we will do
The rendezvous is 30 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Tropea (VV).
Awaiting us will be the skipper, ready to welcome us on board the dinghy. Once the group is formed, we will set sail along the legendary Costa degli Dei, in the direction of Capo Vaticano.
During the navigation we will skirt Tropea, admiring it from the privileged perspective from the sea and stopping for a break under the iconic church of Santa Maria dell'Isola. Continuing on we will visit the Grotta Azzurra (Blue Grotto), so called because of the crystal clear water inside.
Then we will reach Formicoli, the ancient submerged Roman port where we can dive and snorkel to discover the wonders on the seabed. The next stop will be the promontory of Capo Vaticano, where we will admire the spectacle of the sunset: it will be the most magical moment of our excursion!
We will then make onelast stop at Riaci Bay, diving from the dinghy for a refreshing swim and more snorkelling. Back on board, a toast with prosecco and soft drinks will await us on our way back to Tropea.
The activity will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for everyone, without age limits. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.

The excursion takes place from April to October.
The boat used is a 10-metreMaster 33 dinghy , equipped with awning, shower, stereo and climbing ladder.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport; free and paid parking spaces are available on site.
