E-MTB excursion on the Morrone coast with aperitif

Experience sport and nature with ahalf-day e-bike excursion in the heart of the Majella National Park.

Starting from Caramanico Terme in the province of Pescara, you will tackle a route of around 35 km along the coast of Monte Morrone. Thanks to our electric bikes, you can pedal effortlessly through coniferous forests, dirt roads and enchanting villages.

In the company of an FCI cycling guide, you will visit the Salle Castle and the beautiful village of Roccacaramanico, in the beautiful setting of Mount Morrone. Between climbs, descents, panoramic views and a recharging aperitif !

What we will do

The meeting point is at the time agreed at the time of booking in Caramanico Terme, in the province of Pescara. Here we will meet the guide and, after a brief moment to fill out and sign the rental contract, we will be handed the electric bikes, helmets and packed lunch (included in the fee).

After a 10-minute briefing, we will set off on our e-bike excursion. We will ride along a stretch of asphalt road to Salle, crossing the highest bridge in central Italy, a good 100 metres!

We will then cycle in the direction of the Morrone mountain range to reach the historic Salle Castle. If the group wishes, we can make a short stop to visit this historic residence.

We will then begin the ascent to reach the Morrone Coast. After that, we will continue for a few kilometres on a false level in the forest until we reach Roccacaramanico. We will then descend a beautiful path to the village of Sant'Eufemia a Majella and continue on asphalt to the starting point.

We will stop for an aperitif (included) at a refreshment stop in Roccacaramanico or Sant'Eufemia, where we will taste typical local products that will give us new energy for the last ride.

The route is about 35 km and starts at an altitude of about 500 m and rises to about 1,200 m. The activity has a total duration of about 5 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is of medium level, suitable for those with a good physical condition (the climb despite the e-bike is not the easiest) and moderate off-road cycling skills. Any medical conditions must be reported to the guide immediately after booking in order to assess suitability.

The minimum age for participation is 16 years.

Minors must be accompanied by at least one parent.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the activity starts.

The activity takes place all year round, weather permitting, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.

It is possible to do the excursion in the morning or in the afternoon. Contact the guide the day before the activity to confirm the meeting time.
