Full description
The island of Caprera as you have never seen it.
Experience a3-hour excursion among the wonders of Caprera on a blazing quad bike and discover the secrets of the island in the company of your guide.
Because the sea in Sardinia is splendid, yes. But the mainland is no joke either!
What we will do
The meeting will take place at the meeting point in La Maddalena (SS), at the time selected during the booking process. We will be welcomed by our guide, ready to take us on an adventure!
Once we have become familiar with our quads, it will be time to set off. The route, which is about 20 km long, will lead us to discover the beautiful island of Caprera, which we will reach by crossing the Passo della Moneta bridge-dam that connects the two islands.
We will ride along Caprera's most beautiful paths, through pine forests and wonderful coves, such as Cala Portese and Cala Andreani. When we reach the scenic Spiaggia del Relitto (Shipwreck Beach), we will also enjoy a well-deserved and refreshing swim!
After having explored the eastern side, it will be time to move westwards, a steep area embellished by majestic pink granite hills and dense Mediterranean scrub vegetation. We will then push on as far as Monte Arbuticci, before returning.
The excursion will last a total of three hours.
Who it is aimed at
The driver of the quad bike must be over 18 years of age and hold a B licence, including a foreign one. Newly licensed drivers may drive the quad bike.
The minimum age for passengers is 6 years.
Other information
The activity is available from April to October, and is confirmed with a minimum of 3 booked quads .
The centre has 4 quads, for a total of 8 participants. Driver and passenger can swap behind the wheel at any time, if both meet the requirements.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; free parking is available on site.
