Let's face it: looking at the sea of Ortigia from the quayside is like looking at a picture of a cannoli without being able to bite into it. If you really want to experience Sicily, you have to leave the mainland and take your own space among the waves, far from the crowds and the pace of the city.
A 5. 10 Allegra boat is waiting for you in Ortigia (SR), the perfect vessel for those who do not have a licence but have a great desire for freedom. With a 40 hp engine, cushions for your relaxation, and a stereo for the right soundtrack, you can accommodate up to 6 people and become the master of your itinerary.
What we will do
The appointment is at the time indicated at the meeting point in Ortigia (SR) . Upon your arrival, the staff will welcome you to sign the rental contract and give you a detailed briefing on the operation of the vessel and the safety rules to be observed at sea.
If you have never driven a boat before, don't worry: we will take you for a short test drive to make sure you get familiar with the controls. The Allegra boat, 5. 10 metres long and equipped with a reliable 40 HP engine, is easy to drive without a licence and is equipped with an awning, Bluetooth stereo, cushions and a freshwater shower.
Once you are ready to set sail, you will be spoilt for choice as to where to go. The skipper will suggest the best itineraries, such as the splendid Fountain of Arethusa seen from the sea or the evocative Zone dei Due Frati, where the water is so transparent as to be perfect for snorkelling.
You can sail freely, stopping for a dip where the blue deepens or enjoying an aperitif on board thanks to the igloo icebox available on request. At the end of the experience, you will return the boat to the starting point.
When booking, you can choose between a half day (4 hours maximum) or a full day (9 hours maximum) .
Who it is aimed at
This boat may be driven without a licence; the person renting and driving the boat must be at least 18 years old.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The boat can be hired from May to September and can accommodate up to 6 people (for maximum comfort, we recommend 5) .
You can choose the 4-hour option (half-day 9am-1pm or 2pm-6pm) or 9-hour option (full day 9am-6pm) ; select your preference in the booking box.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; free parking spaces are available on site.
Fuel is not included in the fee and will be payable on return in cash according to actual consumption as measured by on-board devices.
No deposit is required.
Dogs are allowed on board of all sizes, provided care is taken not to damage the cushions.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
