When the tough ones start playing… we hop on an e-bike and overtake them with ease.
Hire a comfortable e-bike in Novello and explore historic villages such as Barolo and La Morra in complete freedom, cycling amongst endless rows of vines and medieval castles.
You can choose between a half-day or full-day option, with assistance from our staff when you collect your bike and a handy GPS app included to guide you step by step (or rather, pedal stroke by pedal stroke) through the UNESCO-listed landscapes of the Langhe!
What we will do
We’ll meet 10 minutes before the time stated at the meeting point in Novello (CN), where the staff will welcome us. After a brief introductory briefing on how the e-bike works and how to use the GPS navigation app, we’ll get on our bikes and set off on our own for the ride.
We’ll cycle in complete freedom or follow the digital routes designed to let us admire the best of the Piedmont region. Along the way, we can stop to take panoramic photos from the viewpoints in La Morra and admire the majesty of Barolo Castle.
The possible routes will take us through the famous Barolo hills, along paths nestled amongst vineyards and hazelnut groves. We can stop off at the amphitheatre in Monforte d’Alba, lose ourselves in the narrow streets of the historic villages of the Langhe, or pop into one of the many local wineries for a tasting (not included) .
At the end of the hire, we’ll need to return to the meeting point. The hire will last for a total of approximately 4 hours (for a half-day hire) or up to around 10 hours ( or until sunset, for a full day) .
Who it is aimed at
This activity is easy and suitable for everyone. Bike hire is restricted to those aged 18 and over, whilst for younger children there are special e-bikes available for heights between 135 and 155 cm, or child seats ( additional charge to be paid on site) .

Bikes are available for hire from approximately February to December.
The hire service offers trekking e-bikes, ideal for road cycling or light off-road riding and for attaching a child seat, or Front MTB e-bikes designed to tackle off-road trails with ease. Both models have an approximate range of 80–120 km per charge and 4 levels of assistance ( 25% , 50% , 100% , 150% ).
On request, child seats ( up to 25 kg) are available at an extra cost of €5, Co-pilot bike seats ( 6–8 years) at €15 and child trailer trolleys (up to 35 kg) at €15, all to be paid for on site on the day of the activity.
Dogs are welcome thanks to the special dog trailer (maximum load 45 kg) , available on request at a cost of €15, payable on the day.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Changing rooms with showers are also available at the meeting point. In the event of a puncture or mechanical breakdown along the route, a recovery service is included.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
