Full description
There are days when you don't need a plan: you need a dinghy. With the 5. 80-metre Saver MG you climb aboard, start the engine and let the Alghero sea decide the rest.
You have room for six people, deluxe cushions fore and aft, a sun canopy to dodge the sun in the hottest hours, and a freshwater shower that refreshes you after every dive.
The 40 hp engine can be driven without a licence, so no excuses are needed: anyone can become captain for a day.
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes earlier at the meeting point at the port of Alghero. The on-site staff will welcome you and your group and, after the registration paperwork, will provide you with a paper map with routes and main rules. Before setting off, you will have a full briefing and a short 5/10 minute test drive to familiarise yourself with the controls.
The 5.80-metre longSaver MG dinghy , equipped with a 40 HP engine, can be driven without a licence. Ideal for groups of up to 6 people, it comes with an awning, cushions, GPS, a ladder to climb back up after diving and a shower to rinse off the salt.
Once in the water, you'll be spoilt for choice: head for the clear waters of Capo Caccia, explore the wild coves of Porto Conte or stop at the golden beaches of Lido di San Giovanni. Each bay can become your 'private beach' for a few hours.
At the end of the rental, you will return the dinghy to the starting point. When booking, you can choose whether to hire the dinghy for half a day (4h) or thewhole day (8h).
Who it is aimed at
A boating licence is not required to drive the dinghy, but you must be at least 18 years old. Passengers of any age are allowed on board.
The boat is not accessible to persons with mobility problems.
Other information
It is possible to hire the dinghy every day. When booking, you can choose whether to rent the boat for half a day (4 hours) or afull day (8 hours). You must return the boat by 18:00 hours.
Please note! Much of the coastline falls within the Porto Conte Regional Natural Park and theCapo Caccia Protected Marine Area - Isola Piana. In these areas, navigation is only permitted in certain areas and with speed limits; in others, it is forbidden to enter, anchor or snorkel/fish. On-site staff will give you a paper map with detailed explanations of the areas you can visit.
Fuel is not included and must be paid on return according to consumption.
No deposit is required.
Small dogs are allowed on board.
The meeting point can be reached either by public transport or by car; there is free parking on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
