Holiday farm stay with dinner and wine tasting in Val d'Orcia

You are in the province of Grosseto, where you will spend a night at the Podere Montale agriturismo and relax with a delicious dinner (and included! ), a homemade breakfast (and included! ) and a tasting of 3 glasses of local wine (guess what. .. ? Included! )

Here worries can't enter and you experience 2 days out of the ordinary!

What we will do

The appointment is at Podere Montale, in the province of Grosseto, where you will be welcomed and accompanied to your room by the staff. Check-in is from 15: 00 to 19: 30.

You will stay in a large doubleroom, with a double bed and private bathroom. The large windows provide optimal lighting around the perimeter of the suite and overlook the garden and the park of the Millenary Olive Trees. In addition, the room is equipped with bed linen and towels, courtesy set, hairdryer, air conditioning, wardrobe, TV, Wi-Fi and kettle with herbal teas.

The breakfast buffet (included) will be based on sweet baked goods, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, coffee, cold meats, cheese, bread and eggs. Dinner (included) , on the other hand, will be held at the farmhouse tavern and will include two courses to choose from the menu, water, coffee and a glass of local wine.

The wine tasting (included) can be held after check-in or after check-out and will take place on the same estate. You will be welcomed by a member of staff, who will guide you on a walk through the "La Cassetta" vineyard, from which the area's finest wine, La Riserva, is made. You will then move on to visit the winery, which is located in a building resembling the outline of a castle and overlooks the Val d'Orcia. Your guide will explain the various stages of wine-making, and then take you to the barrel cellar.

Finally, there will be the most awaited moment: the tasting of three wines, which will take place on the panoramic terrace of the estate, in front of vineyards, olive groves and wheat fields. There you will taste Podere Montale's wines, including reds, whites, DOC and IGT, all accompanied by focaccia, salami and 0 km pecorino cheese.

The activity will last a total of 2 hours and will make you fall in love with the flavours and products of the territory.

Check-out is scheduled no later than 10 a. m.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable from the age of 18.

The facility and the activity are wheelchair accessible. Communicate your needs in advance by contacting the organisers at the contact details on your booking confirmation email: a dedicated room will be reserved for you.

Other information

The experience takes place from April to November. Check-in will be possible from 3 p. m. to 7. 30 p. m. and check-out must be done no later than 10 a. m.

Please note! A tourist tax of 1 euro per person will have to be paid on site.

The wine tasting is not a private activity; it may be shared with other participants.

The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport; there is free parking on site.

Dogs are not allowed.
