Hydrospeed Adrenaline on the River Adda in Valtellina

Direct contact with nature is the element that makes hydrospeed the river sport with the highest level of emotion. There is no a raft to keep you afloat, nor a paddle to tame the rapids. You will be just you, the river bob and the strength of your legs!

Get ready for a river of adrenaline and let yourself go to the rush of the waters of theAdda River in Valtellina. You'll have to disentangle yourself from the natural obstacles, resist or go along with the current and above all... have the time of your life!

What we will do

The meeting point is in Castione Andevenno, in the province of Sondrio, a few steps away from the river Adda, the 'theatre' of the adventure that awaits us. The first step is the meeting with the instructor, who will guide us through the world ofhydrospeed and - above all - through the river's rapids.

Before we dive in, our guide will give us a short theoretical lesson, during which we will learn the techniques of driving a river bobsleigh and all the behaviours to maintain during the activity, to ensure maximum safety at all times.

After dressing (wetsuit, helmet, fins and floating jacket) we will be ready to dive into the adrenaline rush, in every sense! The descent proposed in this experience is not for the faint-hearted. Speed and excitement will accompany us along a course of obstacles to avoid, currents to follow and rapids to tame.

All this under the banner of maximum fun and complete safety, surrounded by nature and the beauty of Valtellina.

In total, the activity lasts about 2 hours.

Who it is aimed at

This experience is open to everyone from the age of 18. No previous experience is necessary, but good swimming skills are required.

Attention. Please arrive approximately 45 minutes before the start time of the activity.

This activity is bookable from May to July, subject to weather and environmental conditions. In low season, the activity is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants (if you don't reach this number, you may be joined to another group, subject to availability).

The activity may be subject to change depending on the river's hydrometric flow rate, at the instructors' sole discretion.

Showers and changing rooms are available at the sports centre.

On request, it is possible to combine the activity with a wine tasting in a local winery at a cost of €25 per person (payable locally).
